Classes are over.

In the last day of Life Drawing today I drew what may well be my best piece this entire semester.

My paintings (finishing 2 "in-class" works that need to total about 8-12 hours' work, finishing 1 "homework" "interior landscape" that's already 75% finished, and doing a 3-hour drapery painting) aren't due until my 10:15am meeting with Stuart on Thursday, May 15.

My final project in Sculpture I isn't due until final crit begins at 11:30am that same day.

I'm going home either after final crit (ends at 3:00pm) on Thursday or early Friday morning.

Since I'm storing Blick's stuff (as Blick is going home before storage begins), I don't have to worry about emptying the fridge super-early.

Gilly is coming down on Sunday to visit Tom. Watching of Heroes, playing of Guitar Hero and other random awesomeness will commence.

As Scott and Tom are both seniors, they're staying awhile. And I have a new Magic deck with which to play.

One of Gilly's friends is a dealer at Otakon. All they have to do is work in the booth for 4 hours and they get free registration. This makes it SUPERLIKELY that they can come.

The freshies are staying as long as I am. There will be Whedon-marathoning.

I just bought my mom a Mother's Day card, stamped it, and put it in the mailbox. I also bought myself some chocolate because yay.


I am in such a state of :3 right now.

<3 Buffy. <3 the whole series, really, and all the characters in it. Best Christmas present ever. <333 I love my parents.

After watching some of my favorites from Season 6, I went back to the beginning and started watching the series over. So many episodes in Season 1 that I either forgot about or just didn't remember being in S1. So many ones I love, too (I, Robot... You, Jane, Nightmares, and Witch, especially). I also... god, we've watched three full discs of episodes since... Midnightish? Last disc of S1 and the first two of S2. Plus an episode from the next-to-last disc of S1. ...Dear Ra, that's thirteen episodes. Bahaha. And yeah, "we." Managing to get Blick to take an interest. Shocking. Oh, and: S2. SPIKE. School Hard is possibly my favorite episode of the series. (Fool for Love is a close second, with Something Blue bringing in an almost immediate third, but I have to wait until we get to seasons 5 and 4, respectively, for those. D: Woe.)

In other news, Dad dropped by yesterday morning. Just to say hey. <3 I love my dad, I really do. Totally forgot he was passing through this weekend, though, and slept through his first phone call. To the tune of, "Buhh, wha? What's that buzzing?" *Jingle jing!* "...Oh, man, that's my Missed Call tone." Duhrrh. Very nearly slept through his next call, too--okay wait I did. I just immediately called him back. Grf. I need to get a better (read: louder) ringtone for him, seriously. All the ringtones that came with this enV are quiet as a lullaby, and that... really doesn't compute for alarm/wake-me-up-when-somebody-calls tones. (...Now I have to ringtone "Wake Me Up When September Ends." Goddamnit. (Also, yes; like Calvin, I like to verb words.))

Yeah. This was my way of kindasorta wasting time before class. It's 1:57 now; class starts at 2:30. Le sigh. At least it's painting! Painting is fun. Even if I don't... really wanna paint today. Mrr. Oh well. Gotta go; gotta talk to Stuart. I wanna adopt him as my new adviser, since I'm declaring myself an art major and Mary can only advise me as an ed major. Which, ahahaha, no. I'm sure I've already expounded on why I don't wanna be a teacher, but I'll summarize: shit pay, shit hours, shit students. Kthnx, no thnx.

Well. Off. Gotta pack up my bag and go pick up a package from the post office. Maybe my CDs came in~

Thinking of cutting my hair today. We'll see!
