Sometimes, scouring absolutely every single listing in all nine pages of what you're searching for on ebay does, in fact, pay off.

I think I just bought the most gorgeous blue kimono in the entire world.

And for twenty-nine bucks including shipping? Fuck yeah.

Also, bidding on a pair of beautiful fucking geta.

Now I just need tabi socks and hopefully to win that gorgeous wig I've got my eye on. It's got one bid on it already (damnit), but I am going to keep stalking and hopefully buy it out from under the other person.

In case you're wondering why I'm suddenly purchase-happy after having been FREAKING OUT for the last month or so, my return receipt came back from the loan company. They got my application. :D Within two weeks, I will have my loan check, and can pay myself back for the college account deposits, books, art supplies and fucking groceries that should have been covered by loan anyways this past semester. BECCA. LYN. YOUR ASSES ARE COMING HERE, OKAY? Srsly if you need help gimme a holler. I don't have to start paying back this loan until I graduate. 8D

Classes are over.

In the last day of Life Drawing today I drew what may well be my best piece this entire semester.

My paintings (finishing 2 "in-class" works that need to total about 8-12 hours' work, finishing 1 "homework" "interior landscape" that's already 75% finished, and doing a 3-hour drapery painting) aren't due until my 10:15am meeting with Stuart on Thursday, May 15.

My final project in Sculpture I isn't due until final crit begins at 11:30am that same day.

I'm going home either after final crit (ends at 3:00pm) on Thursday or early Friday morning.

Since I'm storing Blick's stuff (as Blick is going home before storage begins), I don't have to worry about emptying the fridge super-early.

Gilly is coming down on Sunday to visit Tom. Watching of Heroes, playing of Guitar Hero and other random awesomeness will commence.

As Scott and Tom are both seniors, they're staying awhile. And I have a new Magic deck with which to play.

One of Gilly's friends is a dealer at Otakon. All they have to do is work in the booth for 4 hours and they get free registration. This makes it SUPERLIKELY that they can come.

The freshies are staying as long as I am. There will be Whedon-marathoning.

I just bought my mom a Mother's Day card, stamped it, and put it in the mailbox. I also bought myself some chocolate because yay.


I am in such a state of :3 right now.

So I got back from class today with a text in my phone from Arctic, asking me to call her once I got back.

Dropped all my stuff, headed up to the common room to 1) have signal and 2) not be talking on the phone in our room with Jeff unconscious.

I got upstairs, to the common room, outside the actual dorms you have to keycard-swipe into, and realized I left my keys.

And I closed the door all the way before I left. (Our room is locked 100% of the time.)

Lawl.

Phone conversation, headed back down, managed to only be waiting in the greater hallway for two minutes before a friend swiped me in.

Bit the bullet and knocked on the door.

Twice.

Jeff, you must really need this sleep.

After a detour at the freshies' room, I walked around outside, in the snow, to our window.

Got the window open, myself inside, sitting on my knees behind the clock in

this window,
took my shoes off, cleaned the snow off of them out the window (all while still kneeling and facing in), set said shoes down behind the green Tupperware container, climbed in and shut the window once again.

All without waking Jeff.

That zebra blanket is hanging off the head-end of his bed.

I am so fucking ninja.

Had to share.
